Eric Castelblanco, a Harvard Law attorney, established Castelblanco Law Group in 1997 with a vision to improve the lives of immigrant families. Initially centered on immigration law, the firm’s direction evolved when a client revealed the deplorable living conditions of her apartment building. Upon witnessing firsthand, the dire circumstances faced by tenants, Eric pivoted Castelblanco Law Group’s focus to advocating for the underserved community.
In the year 2000, our journey at Castelblanco Law Group began with Mrs. Martha Alvarado’s case. It was a pivotal moment where Attorney Castelblanco uncovered the dire living conditions affecting 93 tenants. Their trust in Castelblanco Law Group led to a landmark $2.14 million settlement, solidifying our firm’s unwavering dedication to housing justice.
